4H in the Mall & Theme Contest

expired

This year's 4-H in the Mall will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 16th at Tractor Supply.

This year’s 4-H in the Mall will be held from 11a.m. to 2p.m., Saturday, March 16th at Tractor Supply.  This year’s 4-H THEME will be announced at 4-H in the Mall.  Entries are due by Mar. 10th.  The Jackson County 4-H Theme Contest is a great way for all 4-H members to get involved in the 4-H activities.  The theme contest is open to all 4-H members.
The winner will be announced during 4-H in the Mall and their theme will be featured on the 2013 fairbook.  The
themes must be five words or less and must include the word “4-H”.  Themes should try to encompass all of what 4-H has to offer and what 4-H means to its members.  Themes can celebrate our history and our future.  Each 4-H member may only submit one theme. The member’s full name, age and club should be listed on the back of the paper. All themes are due to the Extension Office/drop box or must be e-mailed to dailey.108@osu.edu by March 10th.

Clubs wishing to participate in 4-H in the Mall should call Elsie Rouse at 740.415.8525 (cell) to reserve a table. Because space is limited, clubs will be limited to a square card table for their display. Each club must provide their own table and can have two chairs next to its table. Awards will be given this year for the best club display. From previous experiences, we have learned that the space becomes crowded very quickly, and we have to leave more room for people to walk in the aisle way. Clubs are still welcome to set up a chair or stool for face painting, games or other activities in front of their table.
We're hoping for great participation in 2013!
