Haunted Barn Volunteers Needed
Operated by the Jackson County Livestock Committee, the annual Fright at the Fairgrounds Haunted Barn supports junior fair livestock exhibition programs in good fun. Each year, thousands of dollars are raised in support of 4-H and FFA programs in Jackson County through the Haunted Barn, but it cannot be done without the help of countless youth and adult volunteers. Help is needed from August – September to build and decorate the barn. In October, help is needed to scare visitors! Open to both youth and adults!
Not interested in scaring? There are plenty of other jobs to be done, such as driving the tractor for the transport wagon from the barns to the parking lot and back. Help is needed for ticket taking, popcorn making, and more!
