General Project judging for 2023 will take place Thursday, June 22 at the Jackson County Extension Office. General Projects will be judged from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m (including Project JumpStart interviews). Judging schedule will be available at a later date.
Please be sure to plan for possible delays, as the judging process takes time and our judges want to make sure they spend an adequet amount of time with each exhibitor.

Save the Date for the 2023 Spring Project Fair and 4-H Open House, held on Thursday, March 9th from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. Bring your kiddos and come have some fun!
The event is open to all youth, 4-H members and not, to learn more about 4-H projects, opportunities, and more. There will be games, activities, prizes, and even live animals!

Have you heard of the Master Gardener Volunteer program that is offered by Ohio State University Extension? If you haven’t, Master Gardeners is a volunteer program that provides an intensive training in horticulture for the experienced and inexperienced volunteer in gardening. The program was founded in 1972 in Seattle Washington by an extension agent that wanted to create a strong, garden-based group to help spread education and research-based information to the public.
