    Rural Landowner Conference December 7th

                With the needs and concerns of the areas rural landowners in mind the area’s first Rural Landowner Conference will be hosted on December 7th at the OSU South Centers in Piketon, Ohio.  The event aims to provide landowners with important information about existing programs and resources as well as address some common major concerns.

  3. Make-Up Quality Assurance Training

    A make-up Quality Assurance Training will be offered May 21, 2019 at the Jackson County Extension Office from 4-5pm or 6-7pm.

    Anyone interested in attending the make-up QA training must pre-register, and there will be a charge of $10 per participant.

  5. Poultry Clinic/QA Date Finalized

    Apr. 12, 2018

    A Poultry Clinic and Quality Assusrance will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at the Jackson County Extension Office. Doors will close at 6:15 p.m.; participants must stay for the entirity of the session in order to recieve credit.

    Jackson County 4-H has moved to an online enrollment system for 2018. Each family will have their own login credentials; this will allow them to enroll their children in projects, manage their family information, and give them access to information such as project history and more.     The new 4-H year is off and running, and Jackson County Extension will be hosting two important kickoff events in the month of March.

  10. Office closed February 7 due to power outage

    The Jackson County Extension Office is without power and will be closing for the rest of the day, Wednesday, February 7, 2018.  This also leaves us without phones so if you need to contact us, please do so through email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will reopen 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018.
