The 2017 Beef and Forage Field night will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 from 5 to 8:30 pm at the Jackson Agricultural Research Station in Jackson Ohio. The event will feature presentations from OSU Extension and Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center researchers and educators, including Justin Kieffer, Scott Payne, Jess Bowen, Jimmy Henning and Jeff Moore.

Topics to be discussed during the evening include:

• Adding value to calves to enhance marketing opportunitites
• Managing the reproductive calendar to increase profibility
• Successful forage seeding and inter-seeding
