The new 4-H year is off and running, and Jackson County Extension will be hosting two important kickoff events in the month of March.

Make plans to join us for the 4-H Winter Project Fair on Thursday, March 1 from 5:30-7:30 pm. New projects will debuted and samples of project books will be available to view. Members can also take this opprotunity to place their book orders early and get a jump on the new 4-H year. Free pizza and refreshments will be provided! Also, there will be discounted 4-H Summer Camp Registrations ($10 off with $50 deposit) for attendees; the first 10 Camp registrations paid in full get a free camp t-shirt. 

Extension staff will also be on hand for anyone needing assistance with the new online enrollment system.

The Jackson County 4-H Horse Program is also holding a special kickoff event, Wednesday, March 7 at the Extension Office. This will be an excellent opportunity to view horse safety videos, complete horse club training, receive program updates, and enjoy some delicious pizza!
