A make-up Quality Assurance Training will be offered May 21, 2019 at the Jackson County Extension Office from 4-5pm or 6-7pm.
Anyone interested in attending the make-up QA training must pre-register, and there will be a charge of $10 per participant.

A Poultry Clinic and Quality Assusrance will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at the Jackson County Extension Office. Doors will close at 6:15 p.m.; participants must stay for the entirity of the session in order to recieve credit.

Jackson County 4-H has moved to an online enrollment system for 2018. Each family will have their own login credentials; this will allow them to enroll their children in projects, manage their family information, and give them access to information such as project history and more. The Jackson County Extension Office is without power and will be closing for the rest of the day, Wednesday, February 7, 2018. This also leaves us without phones so if you need to contact us, please do so through email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will reopen 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Steer Weigh-in will be held 9-11 a.m. (Note the time change) Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Jackson County Fairground. Each member can weigh in a maximum of three steers, although an exhibitor may only show two steers at the fair. All steers MUST be checked in during this initial weigh-in, in order to show and sell at the Jackson County Junior Fair.
