    Two local young men will find themselves among a select group of 4-H members taking part in the prestigious 2017 National 4-H Congress to be held in Atlanta this November.

  3. Spring Fling is April 21-22, Registration Deadline Looming

    Spring Fling 2017 for 4-H members in grades 3-6 will be held April 21 and 22 at Canter's Cave 4-H Camp. The registration deadline is April 14, 2017 and forms are available to download here:

  4. Weather postpones Volunteer Training, rescheduled for Feb. 2

    The mandatory 4-H Volunteer Training and Recognition Program, originally scheduled for January 30 has been postponed due to inclement weather and has been rescheduled. The training will now be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 4 at Canter's Cave 4-H Camp.

    The Forms and Applications page has been updated with 2017 applications for Jackson County Junior Fair Queen, 4-10 Grade Attendants, and Little Miss/Mister. You  will also find a link to a summary page, outling important dates and times for practice, meetings, and contests.

  6. Friends of 4-H Fundraiser Dinner/Auction set for Saturday, November 5 at Canter’s Cave

    You can help ensure the survival and success of the Jackson County 4-H Youth Development Program for its current 600-plus membership, as well as future generations of young people, by attending and participating in a special fundraising event.

    The Jackson County Friends of 4-H Committee is holding a dinner and auction Saturday, November 5 at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. The annual event is crucial in helping to raise sufficient funds to operate the 4-H program in Jackson County.

  10. 2016 4-H Theme Submissions Due March 1

    REMINDER for Jackson County 4-H Members: Submissions for the 2016 4-H Theme Contest are due to the Jackson County OSU Extension Office by March 1. The theme needs to be 5 words or less and must include the word "4-H."

    The winning entry will be featured as the theme of the 2016 Jackson County Fair. You can drop off your entry during normal business hours (9:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) or anytime via the dropbox.
