Applications are accepted until September 30th. All applicants must be current approved 4-H volunteers with at least one (1) year of prior service before serving on a committee.

4-H Advisory Committees support and advise 4-H professionals about the current and future needs of county youth, volunteers and families in order to promote and foster involvement in 4-H Youth Development Programs. See the 4-H Advisory Committee Member Position Description to learn more about Advisory Committee member duties. 

Applications are accepted throughout the month of September, and are voted on at the November 4-H Advisor training. No applications are accepted at the November 4-H Advisor Training. One must submit their application ahead of time to the Extension Office. 

Committee meets every second Monday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Jackson County OSU Extension Office.

2024 Livestock Committee Member List

The Jackson County 4-H Livestock Committee supports livestock junior fair activities and operations through the administration, fundraising, and facilitation of junior fair events. 

Applications accepted throughout the month of September. Applications are voted on in November. One must submit their applications ahead of time to the Extension Office. 

Committee meets every second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Jackson County OSU Extension Office.

Jackson County 4-H Horse Committee

4-H Horse Committees support and advise 4-H professionals about the current and future needs of county 4-H horse programs in order to promote and foster involvement in the 4-H Youth Development Program through equine educational activities. The 4-H Horse Committee provides clinics and educational opportunities to 4-H horse exhibitors, fundraises on behalf of the horse program, and more. 

Applications accepted throughout the month of September. Applicants are voted on in October.

Committee meets every third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM from February-October. Officers will meet in November & January to complete the annual audit.
