Jackson County 4-H Junior Leaders Club
- The Jackson County Junior Leaders 4-H Club is a 4-H Club for teens ages 13 and up! The club meets every other month starting in January. Teens can join any time throughout the year just by attending Junior Leaders events. Check the 4-H Newsletter each month for upcoming JLS events! The Junior Leaders Club complete community service projects and focus their involvement in leadership and citizenship programs.

Order your 4-H Graduation Chords by April 15th!
Visit go.osu.edu/JacksonSeniors to order & give us information for your Senior Highlight!
Any Jackson County 4-H graduating senior who has completed at least 4 years in the 4-H program are eligible for a FREE 4-H graduation chord to wear at their school’s graduation ceremony. Youth who fill out the form by April 15th will be featured on our social media pages and in the newsletter!

State 4-H Teen Opportunities

Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council
Individuals must be 14-18 as of January 1 of the year of application to apply for council member, committee member, committee chair, and officer positions. Junior Advisor applicants must be 18-20 years old (as of January 1) when they apply. Applications are due the Friday following the conclusion of the Ohio State Fair. More information & applications can be found on the Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council's webpage.
4-H Event Youth Assistants (4HEYA)
4-H members who are 13-18 years old as of January 1 and have previously completed at least one year of 4-H are encouraged to apply. More information and applications can be found at https://ohio4h.org/families/just-teens/4heya.
Ohio State Fair Junior Fair Board
To apply for this two-year termed opportunity, members need to complete the online application on the Ohio State Fair website starting January 1: https://www.ohiostatefair.com/p/get-involved/jfb.
Applications are due March 1.
Ohio 4-H Foundation Board Youth Representative
The Ohio 4-H Foundation looks for strong leaders between the age of 14-18 as of January 1 to be the Ohio 4-H Foundation's Youth Representatives. This special leadership opportunity requires 3 face to face (Zoom as needed) meetings a year. The position is a two year term. More information can be found here.
